“I like to be called the poet among jewelry designers. This is because I accompany all my creations with expressive texts, making my jewelry ambassadors of very personal philosophies. Jewelry is a kind of talisman for me. This can be protective or empowering. This message is particularly important when it comes to wedding rings, because the ring is the symbol of love between two people and an expression of their very personal love story.
Even if Jewelry is given away, it is associated with an unspoken message: you are worth it, you deserve it, you are important to me. And this jewelry will be worn with all the pride and love one feels for the giver.
I get my inspiration from literature and music - it can be a song on the radio, the content of which touches me and spontaneously gives rise to an idea for visual implementation. I also like to talk to couples who want to get married and ask them what love means to them, what they expect from it: Some believe in the power of love, that through the power of this love itself will achieve the unattainable. Others, in return, seek protection and security in this love. Love is also a hug, it means closeness, never being alone. But above all, this love between two people is unique, in a special way.
The individuality of love is best expressed through craftsmanship because doing things by hand is a process of creation. Each of my ring structures is made by hand applied. So every ring is unique. Due to the technology we use, the rings are softer than conventional, industrially manufactured rings. So they allow signs of wear and these are important and wanted, because the structures are only brought to life through the patina of being worn.
The craftsmanship is also visible on many models, and intentionally – I like to call it “perfectly imperfect”. For example, in the case of our “Breakwater” wedding ring model, the rock structure is represented by a file structure that has not been reworked – this is pure manual work.”
